Fun & Fitness by Cheryl Tsutsumi

If you think working out during your Hawaiian vacation wouldn’t be fun, think again. With your input, Pure Kauai plans an entertaining and educational itinerary – and one that burns a lot of calories! Hiking, kayaking, surfing, swimming, snorkeling and cycling are just a few of the activities the Princeville-based company can arrange during your customized health and fitness getaway.

Depending on your needs and goals, Pure Kauai can set up weight lifting, yoga, martial arts, meditation, African dance and Pilates sessions as well as nutritional counseling, personal chef services and bodywork, including traditional Hawaiian lomi lomi massage. Accommodations range from quaint bungalows to beachfront vacation homes to luxury hotels.

Three-day to three-week all-inclusive programs are available, including activities, accommodations, on-island transportation and meals; the three-day Standard Package for two is $1250 per person. Additional activities such as golf, sailing, scuba diving, helicopter tours and horseback riding can be booked for an additional fee.
